Sanford Redmond inc. is dedicated to the proposition that all current unit-of-use (portion) packages are created equal. Equally poor, equally difficult to use and equally wasteful of materials (mainly plastic) therefore equally detrimental to the environment and equally expensive. Sanford Redmond inc. is consequently dedicated to rectifying this situation by the invention and development of easy and pleasant to use, squeezable unit-of-use dispensing packages which are instant opening, environmentally beneficial, and the high-speed machinery to produce them. The packages in general are made from plastic films and use on average 50% to 75 % less plastic than the packages they displace and cost about 50% to 75% less. Sanford Redmond packages and machines have been used throughout the U.S. and worldwide by such companies as Kraft, M&M Mars, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Oscar Mayer, Ottogi, Mitsubishi, Ventura, AMPI, Lipton, National Healthcare Mfg Corp., Tulkoff Products Corp., Land O’ Lakes, Armor-All etc. They are capable of containing and dispensing a broad range of products including shampoo, surgical soap, toothpaste, detergents, alcohol, syrups, confections, margarine, jams and jellies, dressing, condiments, soup concentrate, coffee cream, juice concentrate, frosting, medications, oriental sauces, salad dressing, oil, fat, yogurt, baby foods, powders, etc. etc.
